EPIC 2026 Consultant Symposium

This policy covers the EPIC 2026 registration site (epic.epikitchen.com) and the EPIC 2026 app, on iPhone and on the web. Both are run by Equipment Preference, Inc. (“EPI”, “we”), which hosts the EPIC 2026 Consultant Symposium.

Your name as it appears on your travel document, the name for your badge, your company, email address, office and mobile phone, mailing address, date of birth, gender, Known Traveler Number, departure airport, seating preference, travel dates, food allergies, FCSI membership, an emergency contact, a short biography, and a photo or document if you choose to upload one. If you bring a guest, we collect the same travel details for them.

To register you for the event, book your travel, print your badge, plan meals around allergies, and run the event, including your schedule in the app. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

EPI’s event team sees everything you submit, because we book your travel.

The representative firm you choose is emailed your name, company, email, phone numbers, travel dates, departure airport, seating preference, food allergies, emergency contact, and whether you are bringing a guest. It is not sent your date of birth, gender, or Known Traveler Number.

Airlines and other travel providers receive what they need to issue your tickets.

Service providers store and send it for us: Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (website hosting) and Resend (email). They handle it only to provide those services.

You sign in with the email address you registered with and your last name. The app shows your event schedule, exhibitor details and event information. It does not collect your location, contacts or photos. It contains no advertising, analytics or crash reporting, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.

The app keeps you signed in, and keeps a copy of the event information on your phone so it still works with a weak signal. Deleting the app, or clearing the website’s data in your browser, removes both.

We keep registration information for as long as we need it to run EPIC 2026 and its follow-up, and then delete it.

EPIC is a business event for foodservice professionals. Neither the site nor the app is meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
